Synthesis and Properties of Water-Soluble Polyester Sizing

A water-soluble polyester slurry was synthesized by transesterification-condensation polymerization, and its structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray diffraction, and gel chromatography. The results showed that: under the optimized synthesis conditions The prepared water-soluble polyester size is an amorphous copolymer with good viscosity properties, film-forming properties and sizing properties.
